Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths (2022)

For Bardo: False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths, I worked at MPC coordinating the compositing team on a visually ambitious, director-led project. Acting as the right-hand to the UK-based VFX Supervisor, I managed schedules, shot tracking and review workflows across both the internal team and an outsourced vendor, including close coordination with the compositing team in India. This required careful communication and alignment across time zones to maintain consistency and momentum.

One of the key challenges was the complex compositing work required to integrate the lead actor’s head onto a child’s body, alongside extensive plate stitching to support Alejandro Iñárritu’s characteristic long, continuous shot style. By maintaining clear structure and communication across teams, I helped support a focused, disciplined delivery process on a film defined by technical precision, nuance and scale, while working closely with Academy Award–winning filmmakers and senior creative teams.
